Loving Lately - Beauty Edition

I've been trying hard not to purchase too many new beauty bits recently, as I just have so much make up which doesn't get out enough. So with that said, I've recently rediscovered some old favourites and I forgot how much I love them!

Hoola Bronzer - Hoola was my first ever bronzer, back in the day. As soon as I got my first part time job, the majority of my wages used to go on Benefit products. (Hoola, That Gal, High Beam, to name a few...) I LOVED Hoola, but after a good few years I decided it was time to switch up my bronzer and try something else. I've been using the Soap and Glory Solar Powder for a year or two and although I do like it a lot, I was finding it to be quite subtle, and as we head into summer, I really want to be able to see my bronzer, ya know? Looking back at old photos and admiring how bronzed I looked, I decided to go for it and purchase another Hoola, except this time I bought a mini from Boots to see how I felt about it. (A mini Hoola, can we all just take a moment to appreciate the cuteness?) Since purchasing, I've used it everyday and I love it. It a perfectly matte bronzer, a very warm brown, but not so warm that it's verging on orange. Hoola is pretty pigmented so it really needs to be applied with a light hand and blended in well. I love to blend it under my cheekbones and across my nose and forehead to give that glowing 'I've just been on holiday but not really' look. It's so pretty - I'm so happy I repurchased. If you have yet to try Hoola, I highly recommend you go and swatch it!

NARS One Night Stand Palette - I bought this limited edition palette a couple of years ago after being taken in by the blogger hype surrounding it. I am a huge fan of NARS. If I could only use one make up brand for the rest of my life, I think it'd be NARS. I've loved their blushers for years, their lipsticks are beautiful, and their concealer is life. One Night Stand contains six shades - four blushers, a bronzer and a highlight. The blushers are Mistinguette (limited edition), Deep Throat, Orgasm and Goulou (limited edition). Deep Throat and Orgasm are cult classics and I already loved them so was really excited to get them in palette form. Goulu is similar to NARS's Sin but a bit lighter, and Mistinguette is a bright bubblegum pink. The bronzer is cult classic Laguna - a cooler toned bronzer, great for contour. And finally... the highlight which is fast becoming a firm favourite - Devottee. It's a silvery, sheeny highlight, quite cool toned and gives a gorgeous glow to the cheekbones. Usually I prefer something a bit warmer but Devottee is just so lovely. It's such a shame this was a limited edition shade!

NARS Roman Holiday - I love this lipstick. I'm nearing the end of the tube and that says A LOT, because I've never finished a lipstick. This is a sheer, cool toned girly pink lipstick which looks so pretty, especially with a tan. It's super easy to wear, goes with most make up looks and although it's quite 'nude' for my usual liking, it seems to suit me quite well. It's so comfortable to wear and feels a bit like a lip balm rather than a heavy lipstick. Although Roman Holiday is a sheer finish, it has quite a lot of pigment.

Have you tried any of these lovely things? Anything you'd recommend I add to my collection?
