MAC Lipsticks of the Moment

I'm having a bit of a thing with MAC lipsticks right now. The variety of shades, textures and forulas mean there is always a new one to try, and I can't help getting sucked in.

There are five lipsticks from MAC which I'm particularly enjoying at the moment, so let me take you through them.

Peach Blossom - This is a cremesheen finish and it's such a pretty peach shade. It has a good amount of pigment but the texture is kind of glossy/balmy which I love. I'm not a lipgloss wearer but Peach Blossom offers a hint of gloss without the stickiness. It's such an easy daytime shade, I love it.

Show Orchid - I picked this up recently in Duty Free. I wanted this one years ago after hearing Fleur De Force raving about it, but heard it had been discontinued and never tried to buy it. So when I saw this at the airport, I snatched it up. Show Orchid is an Amplified lipstick which gives an opaque finish, with lots of colour. It's a blue toned (very bright) fuchsia pink and I'm really looking forward to wearing this in the summertime.

All Out Gorgeous - a gift from my boyfriend, (props to him) I had never tried any of the Mineralize Rich lipsticks from MAC. They are designed to be super moisturising but still have excellent colour payoff. All Out Gorgeous is a deep red wine shade, which can be applied as a wearable glossy stain or built up to a more bold finish. The packaging feels much more luxurious than the standard MAC lipsticks and has a magnetic closure. Fancy. I really like this shade and want to check out the rest of the range!

Whirl - the ultimate 'Kylie Jenner' inspired lipstick, Whirl is a huge favourite of mine right now. It's a matte finish, which I usually totally avoid in MAC because my lips can't cope, but this shade seems to get on ok with me. Whirl is a brown-nude which I definitely find easier to wear at nighttime - it is a little bit vampy but you could dab it into the lips to make it a little more subtle!

Girl About Town - finally, one of my all time favourite MAC lipsticks. Girl About Town is another blue toned fuchsia shade, but it's much more subtle and less bright than Show Orchid. It's such a gorgeous lipstick and so long lasting that I do find it difficult to remove! But it's definitely worth it.

Should I add any more MAC lipsticks to my collection? I have gift card burning a hole in my pocket...
