Sephora Haul

I am SO excited to be writing this post... Sephora is kind of like the Disneyland of the make-up world - am I right?! Being a UK resident and all, it's a little difficult to get hold of Sephora goodies, however I was in the States at the end of last year, and my friend and I also put in a joint order on their website now that they ship to the UK! So this haul is a combination of those two purchases. I know I could spend an absolute fortune on all the pretty things Sephora has to offer, but I was fairly restrained... There are quite a few lip products in this haul, I think that's kinda my weakness when it comes to make-up. And I'm definitely more of a lipstick than a lipgloss type of gal. I haven't tried all of these products yet, so this post will just be an overview/first impressions and I can do a full review of individual products if you guys would be interested!

So let's start with the lip products - I'd heard such great things about the BITE beauty range. BITE originated in Toronto and make natural lip products that pack a punch. All of the shades I've tried are great - in the photo above we have the cashmere lip cream in Moscato, the matte creme lip crayon in Tatin and the high pigment pencil in Syrah. All three are beautiful colours and really long wearing. The latter two are quite natural and really comfortable on the lips - so far so good! Finally, I purchased the Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in Bachelorette. I've tried this once, and I have to say I'm not sure I'm a fan - it's a really pretty colour, but it felt drying on my lips in comparison to similar formulas I've tried.

Moving onto the Tarte purchases - I had wanted to try out this brand so much, and it's so hard to get hold of from the UK! I picked up two blushes - Tipsy and Exposed - Tipsy is a bright coral-ly pink, and Exposed is a muted, natural shade - I love them both and I can tell they are going to last me forever. I also purchased the CC undereye corrector for my horrific dark circles - I'm yet to try this yet but will be sure to report back when I do! Finally I bought the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara in little and large sizes. Can we just take a moment to appreciate the CUTEness of the mini?! I love this mascara - it lengthens and doesn't clump - delightful!

Last but not least, I decided to try the Kat Von D tattoo liner after hearing many a blogger rave about it! I am very loyal to my HG Collection liquid liner, but excited to try this one!

Have you tried any of these products? Do you have any Sephora favourites I should add to my next order?

  3. Love, love, love all of these! Looks like you picked yourself up some real treats. It's a shame you didn't get on with the Kat Von D Everlasting Lipstick. I've been lusting after the shade Lolita for a while now but have never tried the formula before. I wish Sephora would ship to Finland!! Enjoy all of your lovely, new products :) xxx
