My Top 5 Nail Picks for Spring

I'm back! I feel like I haven't blogged for weeks (because I haven't...) and I've really missed it! There was a legitimate reason for my absence - I was studying for an exam with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and it kinda took up all of my spare time. I have been doing the course alongside working and have really enjoyed it! My exam is done now, and I have a 3 month wait until I find out the results... So back to regular blogging. I am glad to be back!

Since we're now into April, and the clocks have finally sprung forward, I guess it is now officially Spring. Although it certainly doesn't feel like it - but whatever - I'm embracing the new season and thought I'd kick off with a post about my favourite shades of polish for Spring.

Essie: Fiji - This one is probably my favourite of the bunch. It is a milky pink shade, similar to Ballet Slippers from Essie but a bit more pink and bold. You will definitely need three coats for this polish, but it's worth it, and it lasts on my nails for days. The shade really stands out and looks great with tanned and pale skin. It's so pretty and girly and I just love it!

Maybelline: Uptown Blue - The Maybelline SuperStay polishes have ah-mazing lasting power as well as a great shade range. Uptown Blue reminds me of a perfect summer blue sky and it's just a nice bright pick me up colour.

OPI: Lucky Lucky Lavender -  I love the OPI range, and the best thing about their polishes are the shade names. They're so catchy! This one is a pretty lilacy-lavender colour which is so easy to wear and if it does chip it's barely noticeable, so it's very low maintenance!

OPI: You're Such A Budapest - This one is one of the most unique shades I have in my collection - I don't really know how to describe it! It is similar to Essie's Bikini So Teeny. It's like a creamy cool-toned blue with a hint of lilac in it. Really pretty and looks best after three coats.

Leighton Denny: Bon Voyage - I love corals for the Spring and Summer time, and this one is my favourite. I bought it last summer when it came out and wore it so much last year. It's a pastel tangerine-coral and again, looks great with a tan. It brightens up any outfit and I think coral compliments most skin tones.

What are your favourite shades for Spring?
