A Charlotte Tilbury Love Affair

I have lusted over Charlotte Tilbury's make up line since it was launched in 2013. I remember my Instagram feed being littered with photos of her eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks and was captivated! Her line is one of a make up lover's dreams, the packaging is to die for and the quality of the products is the best.

Charlotte has been a make up artist for over 20 years, and has worked with the likes of Kate Moss and JLo and most recently did Sienna Miller's make up for the Oscars. She's a bit of an icon in the fashion and beauty world, so naturally her make up line has been ridiculously well received, and rightly so! Charlotte truly understands what women need in make up and this is reflected in her products. She has designed several 'looks' which are aimed at women with specific skin tones/eye colour/hair colour.

There are soo many products that I want to try, and I have held off until now because I really want to go and swatch everything for myself, but unfortunately Charlotte's products aren't sold here in Scotland (yet?!?!) However, I have an extremely long wish list, which includes the Dolche Vita Eyeshadow Palette, Pillow Talk Lip Pencil, Film Star Bronze and Glow, and ANY of the Rock 'n' Kohl eye liners... etc.

So anyway, I have now got my hands on one CT product which I was particularly keen to try, and that is the Matte Revolution Lipstick in Lost Cherry. This shade is described as a 'pastel fuchsia' and it is so wearable. Although these lipsticks are labelled as 'matte', they do not feel like the type of matte lip I've come to expect. It is comfortable to wear and long lasting without drying out the lips. The square tip allows really easy application, which is perfect when working with a more bold coloured lipstick.

I love, love this lipstick and I can't wait to try some more of the products from the range! I am heading to London in the near future so watch out for another CT themed post coming your way...
