The £4 Naked Palette Dupe

I have lusted over the Urban Decay Naked Palette for a loooong time. However, £37 for an eyeshadow palette? The only make up product I'd part that much money for is my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation - which is incredible by the way, but I'll save that one for another day. I do love my eyeshadow, but I'm not really a palette kinda gal. I'd rather make up my own in MAC or buy singles.

So as I was saying, I had been eyeing up the Naked palette for a good while. Then recently on Instagram I saw someone posted a photo of the MUA Undressed palette and thought the shades looked right up my street, and very similar to the Naked palette. When I realised it was only £4, I ran to my nearest Superdrug to make the purchase. I'd not done any research on the palette - being so cheap I didn't feel the need to.

I have been trying this palette out over the past couple of weeks and I'm really impressed. I usually use the Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base for eyeshadow as my eyelids just seem to drink up powder shadows like there's no tomorrow, and I always use the Primer Potion with this palette, just in case and they last all day long and look perfect! My favourite shades are the bronze shade (first left, bottom row - a dupe for Naked's Smog) and the pinky golden shade (second from left, top row - a dupe for Naked's Sin). They both last all day on my lids, they're really pigmented and blend well. I think all of the shades are lovely though. My least favourite would have to be the two blue shades simply because they're quite dark, and if I'm doing a smoky eye, I prefer to use browns or purples.

Overall, I think this palette is INCREDIBLE value for money, the fact that you get 12 shadows for this price alone is awesome. But on top of that, the quality is high, the shade range is great and it's £33 cheaper than it's high-end rival. What are you waiting for?!
