I'm actually a mermaid

Flicking through InStyle magazine a few Sundays ago, I came across an outfit on the style pages that just stuck in my mind. You know that feeling when you spot a dress in a shop and you just can't get it out of your head? You must have the dress. And nothing is going to get in the way of that.

This all sounds a little dramatic, I know. But fellow shopaholics will I'm sure agree with this logic.

Going back to this outfit. The model was sporting a black sweater with the text 'I'm actually a mermaid' imprinted across it, paired with a leopard print mini skirt. I'm not usually a logo wearing girl, but there is something about this sweater that is special. After some research I found that the sweater had been designed by up and coming London fashion designer, Hannah Beth Fincham. Having a quick scout around her website and seeing the amazing designs Hannah has created quickly convinced me to click 'buy'.

Fast forward to receiving the sweater (packaged in beautiful blue tissue paper and gold ribbon, I might add) I am loving my purchase. It is so soft and cosy, and the size is great - I went for medium to have it a little oversized. But the best part is the embroidered text across the chest... the threads are so eye catching in colour and they seem to change from blue to green to turquoise to purple depending on the light that you're in. I'll be wearing this with my black skinny jeans or a leather mini skirt. It's love.
